Fermentation/ Preservation Workshop
Join us for a 90-minute hands-on demo exploring the art of fermentation and preservation, inspired by the weekly Monday food rescue drop from We Don’t Waste. We’ll dive into creative ways to work with rescued and abundant produce—think dried fruits, hot sauce from fermented peppers, garlic honey, and more.
Yoshua Greenfield is a writer, homesteader, and educator based in Boulder, Colorado, where he stewards a five-acre regenerative homestead with his family. With over a decade of experience teaching fermentation, food preservation, and land-based living, Yoshua blends ancestral wisdom with playful presence. Formerly one half of the YouTube duo Brothers Green, he’s now focused on slowing down, reconnecting with nature, and helping others discover the magic of microbes through hands-on, accessible and intuitive classes.
This class is open to all ages and experience levels. While it’s primarily a demonstration, you’re encouraged to bring any excess produce or foods you’d like to learn how to preserve or ferment.
Come curious, leave inspired!
