Join Eric Knutson and the Lake Ditch Company to help clear out the ditch for the 2023 season! 

As part of our community effort for Earth Month, each Saturday in April will be a volunteer day to clear debris from a critical piece of farming infrastructure that is operated and maintained by the Lake Ditch Company to ensure water can get to each farmer and rancher along the 4 miles of waterways. 

The Lake Ditch is over 100 years old and has been maintained by our own local community for the entirety of its lifespan. Help us clear it out for the next 4 Saturdays! Breakfast snacks and a pizza lunch will be provided!

Please RSVP and plan to meet at 8:45am at Yellow Barn Farm (9417 North Foothills Hwy, Longmont CO 80503). Eric will depart from there and will be starting at the end of the ditch and working back towards Yellow Barn over the month. Join us on Saturday, April 22nd for an Earth Day Action Day at Yellow Barn Farm to do the final push on the ditch clearing, help us plant trees in the silvopasture, and clear up wind-blown debris on the property in a community action day!
