Hosting Community Engagement at Yellow Barn Farm

Interior Yellow Barn space, fire pit area (climate permitting), and/or garden area outdoor kitchen.

Event structure

• Yellow Barn offers Thursday evenings from 4pm-10pm as Community Night. The rental fee is discounted 50% from our standard $1,500 rate.

• We offer 1 Thursday per month completely free. The event is chosen by lottery from all the Community Engagement inquiries, and will be given 2 months notice when selected.

Space use

• Included items: Bluetooth speakers, backjacks (20), yoga blankets, yoga bolsters for use inside the Yellow Barn.

• Not included: chairs, tables, projector/screen fire pit, or other equipment.

Promotion & registration

• Facilitator creates event registration link & manages marketing.

• Yellow Barn will share the event via all marketing channels.

On-site support

• A venue coordinator will provide a setup for the first event only.

• Additional day-of support is available at $50/hour.

• Rentals can be quoted on a per-event basis.

Restrictions & expectations

• Event dates are limited and require date approval.

• All Attendees need to register & sign a liability form.

• You must supply (2) people to direct parking. Yellow Barn will assign 1 staff to lead parking and be available for operations support.

• No food inside the barn.

• Guests must remove shoes.

• No Dogs Allowed (service animals must submit a request prior to the event to ensure all other agricultural dogs are kept off-site).

• No candles, wax, glitter, confetti, or messy materials.
