The Sovereignty
Gardens at Yellow Barn

The Sovereignty Gardens are a modern-day tribute to the Victory Gardens - a shared, cultivated space that celebrates the every day triumphs living on Earth at this time in history.

Originally an outdoor horse-back riding arena, this area was filled with nothing but sand and road base.

Over the last five years it has been filled with compost, manure, and biomass. Pigs, chickens, and cover crops have rebuilt the soil.

Teams have attempted to grow here, but we have never managed to make it thrive on our own.

That’s why we’re now calling on community to cultivate.

The Sovereignty Gardens are working garden plots for experienced growers, farming entrepreneurs, market producers, and educational groups ready to commit to a full season.

Plot holders are expected to maintain their space weekly from April through October and participate in quarterly community work days. This garden is designed for those scaling production, testing crops, or developing micro-businesses—not casual hobbyists.

Plots vary in size and include access to irrigation lines, fencing infrastructure, and water. Seeds, tools, tool storage, compost, amendments, etc will be the responsibility of the plot-holder.

Applicants are selected based on clear growing plans and the ability to follow through on seasonal commitments.
