Members-Only: Food Sovereignty Community Meeting

  • Yellow Barn Farm 9417 North Foothills Hwy Longmont United States (map)

We would like to invite our Yellow Barn Farm and Stalk Market members to our first community Food Sovereignty Meeting on Sept. 20th from 6-8pm at the farm.

We would like to share our vision for local food sovereignty in the Boulder community, as well as take the time to do a member orientation on how to access the storage unit for item ordering and pick up. You all are our pilot members and we would like to take time during this meeting to hear more about your desires, guidance, and thoughts for us to better understand and meet the needs of the greater community.

This meeting is not open to the public. It is open to current Annual and Monthly members, plus our on-site organization members, and our invited farm-partner community.

If you have any questions, please reach out! We plan to do another meeting during daytime hours for folks who cannot attend an evening session.

Our aim is do host quarterly meetings for our local community of members to continue to tailor this community hub to best serve all of you.

Members, join us on Sat Sept 23rd, 5-8pm for our first ever Fall Equinox Harvest Celebration to meet our local butcher, Robert Grant of Greener Pastures, and taste-test the pork regeneratively raised right here at Yellow Barn Farm.

Half pork shares will be available for purchase and take home that day, and place pre-orders for the remaining shares (ready end of Sept and again in mid-December).
