Artist Info:
Originating from Lincoln, Nebraska, Philip Daniel is a distinguished pianist and composer acclaimed for his ability to evoke powerful emotion through music. He holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College.
Daniel has cultivated a unique musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements with cinematic textures and minimalist characteristics. His primary vehicle is the piano, merged with electronics and percussion. His compositions resonate with both seasoned musicians and casual listeners, creating a profound emotional impact across diverse audiences.
Beyond his solo work, Daniel has built a full-time career composing for dance and film. He has collaborated with renowned companies and choreographers including:
